Anarkriek is a chocolate porter with additions of Schaerbeek cherry. The cherries have been in the beer for 3 months, which gives the beer a fresh, fruity touch.

Brewer jef Goetelen, also called Jef the Brewer, started brewing beer a few decades ago. Tasting then worked better than brewing, so he left everything for what it was. After a silence of 15 years, he decided in 2001 to take another chance, this time well. After a few years of experimenting, he started his own brewery in his own garden (hof) hence the name Hofbrouwerijke.
