Pours a hazy deep red-brown with a thin, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, dark fruit, port wine and light cinnamon. Sweet flavour of dark fruit, caramel malt, brown sugar, port wine and cinnamon with a dry finish.

This Belgian beer is a real price winner. It was elected as best dark beer at the World Beer Awards. In 2010 it was elected as second best Belgian Style Dubbel. And in that same year the Australian International Beer Awards gave this lovely beer a silver medal.
