Ambreus Oude Geuze is a blend of 1, 2 and 3 year old lambics, matured in Italian and French oak barrels. The wort comes from DenHerberg, Lindemans and DeTroch. After maturation and selection, the blend undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, which produces an elegant, complex gueuze. The name “Ambreus” refers to Ambrosia, the food of the gods, and “Geus”, which symbolizes a timeless drinking experience.
